Cabin Counselor

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and assistance to individuals in need. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for clients. Duties: - Conduct individual counseling sessions to address clients' emotional, behavioral, or psychological concerns - Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals - Provide crisis intervention and support during times of distress or emergency situations - Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans - Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills - Utilize various therapeutic techniques and interventions to facilitate positive change - Maintain accurate and confidential client records Skills: - First aid certification - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Experience in childcare or tutoring - Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations - Background in theater or expressive arts therapy is a plus - Strong behavior management skills - Ability to effectively manage a classroom or daycare setting - Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.
