Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating safety programs and protocols.
- Offer safety support to construction operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with field teams to maintain a secure work environment for all Team Members.
- Exercise independent judgment to address and resolve safety-related challenges.
- Possession of an OSHA 10-hour construction certification is mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Goal-oriented with the capability to establish and achieve objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) are preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in a safety-related discipline is highly preferred.
- Experience in heavy civil construction, transportation, or a related field is advantageous.
- Understanding of general construction safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
- Familiarity with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) practices is preferred.
