Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating safety programs and protocols.
- Provide essential safety support to ongoing construction operations.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Utilize independent judgment to address and resolve safety-related concerns.
- OSHA 10-hour construction certificate is mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with the aptitude to set and accomplish objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interaction with colleagues at all levels.
- Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish, English/Portuguese) are preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- A bachelor's degree in a safety-related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience in heavy civil construction, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with general construction safety and health regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Knowledge or experience with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
