What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Relationship Manager position at Rondout Savings Bank?
Description
The Commercial Relationship Manager facilitates the initiation and servicing of commercial credit and banking relationships, assists with line of credit renewals, servicing existing loan relationships and processing of new originations. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gathering borrower financials, tax returns and ensuring customer files are up to date.
- Responsible for growing commercial loan relationships, deposits, and digital banking services.
- Soliciting new business from present and prospective customers; maintaining ongoing business relationships with existing customers to take advantage of additional cross-selling opportunities.
- Attending community and Bank sponsored events to develop new business and to gain information and leads on prospective customers.
- Work towards established calling goals.
The Commercial Relationship Manager must be an example of the bank's Core Values, adhere to all banking policies and procedures, support exemplary credit quality standards, and must participate in bank sponsored community activities and perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking or financial services
- Strong business acumen to understand financial statements and tax returns
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, along with organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Must be able to lift to 10 pounds at times
- Must be willing to attend events outside of the office and on evenings and weekends
