Quality Control/Repair Tech

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist with a background in roofing to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee quality control processes, ensuring that projects meet company standards and client expectations. Must be willing to travel to jobs up to 4 hours away on occasion.

Duties:
- Conduct inspections of job sites to assess work quality and compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols
- Communicate findings to project managers and collaborate on corrective actions
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and actions taken
- Identify areas for improvement in roofing processes

Experience:
- Prior experience in construction-related quality control or a similar role
- Knowledge of construction materials and methods, including roofing, drywall, stucco, trim carpentry, painting, and caulking
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical work
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus
- Previous experience as a carpenter or maintenance person is advantageous
