As a Commercial Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in expanding RoofPRO's footprint in the commercial roofing industry. This role combines office-based work with field-based prospecting, where you'll be responsible for generating new business, building relationships, and driving revenue growth for the Commercial Roofing Division. You'll be the face of RoofPRO in the market, engaging with property management companies, industry organizations, and potential clients to establish and grow business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business relationships with property management companies, commercial real estate professionals, and key industry players such as CAI, MMHA, PMA, and BOMA.
- Generate monthly project opportunities from newly established property managers and communities.
- Conduct sales meetings, make cold calls, attend trade shows, and network at industry events.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Estimating team to secure bids and close sales.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and track the sales pipeline in CRM software.
- Secure last-look opportunities to improve closing rates and increase sales success.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roofing.
- Established relationships with property management companies and industry groups are preferred.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and outbound sales experience.
- Comfortable using CRM software and social media for outreach and business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to generate leads, convert opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
