Job Overview

RoomReady is expanding our Business Development team in the Boston area. An Account Executive plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty. This position involves managing a portfolio of clients, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality service to foster strong, ongoing partnerships. Occasional overnight travel is required, around 30%of the time. This position will need to be located in the Boston, MA area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client concerns and inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Implement and manage customer retention strategies to increase retention rates.
  • Analyze client data to provide strategic direction, solutions, and improvements in their overall experience.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., product, marketing, support) to meet and exceed client needs effectively.
  • Manage the existing client pipeline to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities. Monitor and track client interactions and progress through the sales funnel to quota attainment.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth within the assigned client base, including upselling and cross-selling initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications :

As a Sales Account Executive, the ideal candidate will need excellent communication and customer service skills combined with the required qualifications below :

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts at a strategic level.
  • Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) tools and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong track record in driving sales growth, meeting targets, and exceeding expectations.
  • Thorough understanding of solution selling and the ability to implement best practices.
  • Passion for the AV Integration industry, demonstrated through knowledge of industry trends, products, and technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a non-corporate, customer-focused environment, maintaining flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs.

  • Compensation & Benefits

    The hiring range is between $75,000 and $115,000 per year depending on experience and location. The ideal candidate will be within 1 hour commute of Boston, MA A comprehensive benefits package includes low-cost / or free employee medical, employer fully paid dental, and vision, along with a 401(k) option. Paid time off and paid holidays.

    Candidates must be located on or around the Eastern region of the US, ideally within 1 hour commute of Boston, MA. This will be a remote role, but be willing to travel overnight.
