Position Summary
The Graduate Admission Recruiter performs all aspects of the recruitment and counseling of prospective students into a doctoral program in the College of Science, Health and Pharmacy. Duties are focused on, but not limited to participation in recruitment events and interview days, responding to inquiries, evaluating applications, and maintaining contact with prospective students.
The Graduate Admission Recruiter will be fully engaged with all aspects of the college and able to speak knowledgeably about the program including institutional values, unique opportunities and faculty strengths.
This is a full-time, administrative, exempt position that reports to the Director of Enrollment and Student Services in Pharmacy based on the Schaumburg campus and also requires attendance at events on Roosevelt’s downtown Chicago campus.
Significant local and some regional travel is required, along with evening and weekend hours as needed to fulfill recruiting commitments. A valid driver’s license is required.

The salary range for this position is $52,000-$56,000.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn CRM software, such as Slate and PharmCAS, a central application system
Years of Experience Required
At least one year of internship or work in higher ed or customer service, or other related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a pharmacy
- Experience in recruiting for a health sciences program
- Experience recruiting students seeking graduate and/or doctoral degrees
- Experience working with Ellucian Banner student database
- Experience working with a CRM application ideally Slate Experience working with PharmCAS, a central application system

Basic office equipment (laptop computer, copier/multi-function device, fax and telephone).
Working Conditions
Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting,
pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds of weight or pressure). Regular use of laptop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition. Moderate level of stress. Significant travel within the local or regional setting may be required.
