This position entails the following category of instruction :
Weekly applied oboe and / or English horn lessons taught onsite at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) Chicago campus, working with students enrolled in the following degree programs :
- Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance;
- Bachelor of Music Education;
- Bachelor of Musical Arts;
- Bachelor of Arts;
- Master of Music in Oboe Performance;
- Master of Music in Multiple Woodwind Performance;
- Master of Music in Orchestral Studies, with an Oboe concentration;
- Performance Diploma in Oboe Performance;
- Professional Diploma in Orchestra Studies, with an Oboe concentration.
This is a part-time position with a cap of 20 total teaching hours per week.

Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and / or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds). May be exposed to loud noise from instrument and voice practice rooms on-site.
