Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our personal care home and assisted living facilities. Duties
- Provide support with meal preparation and ensure residents receive nutritious meals according to their dietary needs.
- Help residents maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support residents in memory care by engaging them in activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a personal care home, assisted living facility, or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring residents as necessary.
- Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques, including taking vital signs, is beneficial.
