Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Support clients in following their care plans and assist with mobility or transportation as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal care services is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or senior care is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of behavior management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with personal care duties, including lifting or transferring clients when necessary.
- A compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is beneficial but not mandatory.
