Kitchen Key Employee
The KKE at Rosa supports the Kitchen Manager in the operation of the back of the house: ordering, holding high standards, customer service, food quality, and safety. In order to be successful in these responsibilities, the KKE must love the restaurant business, exude the core values, and lead with heart and humor.
Requirements:
Love the restaurant industry
Assist team members to achieve their goals
Support the Kitchen Manager in all aspects of back of house operations
Identify & Develop Future leaders
Assist with training new team members
Maintain a fun and professional work environment
Maintain standards: food quality, visual and taste standards
Be a presence throughout the kitchen:
- Dish Team: productivity and cleanliness
- Support the front of house staff
- Maintaining an upbeat kitchen energy
Quickly and professionally support the Kitchen Manager in team communications
Monitor business levels and adjust pars and orders accordingly
Support Front of House Leadership & Team
Maintain safety and sanitation standards including health inspection high scores
Literacy in Computers and Basic Math
Strong skills of observation
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Great oral and written communication
Exceptional follow-through skills
Consistently be the model team member:
- Consistently on time for scheduled shifts
- Consistently complete the tasks by assigned times
- Complete applicable check lists, order guides and count sheets on time
Essential Functions
Constantly works with kitchen equipment and tools
Occasionally positions self to clean under counters and inside equipment
Constantly communicates with staff
Constantly monitors food quality for taste and visual presentation
Frequently moves products weighing up to 50lbs
Frequently works in varied temperature conditions
