Groundskeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our landscapes, ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and inviting. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor maintenance.

Duties

• Perform regular lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in landscape maintenance by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration and growth.
• Maintain equipment used in groundskeeping activities, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Clear debris from walkways, gardens, and other outdoor areas to promote safety and aesthetics.
• Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues that require attention or treatment.
• Assists with the removal of snow in the winter time.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools related to lawn care and landscaping tasks.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture principles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Speaks and reads English proficiently
• Has a valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
