Custom Cabinet Maker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. We work on unique, one-of-a-kind projects with some of the most creative designers and architects in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with experience in fabricating high-quality cabinets and millwork. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create custom cabinetry that meets our clients' specifications. A strong understanding of blueprint reading is preferred.

Duties

• Fabricate cabinets and millwork according to design specifications and blueprints.
• Operate woodworking machinery like table saws, jointers, planers, shapers, band saws and more to precisely cut and share wood componets.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client satisfactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker or similar role in the woodworking industry.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
