Job Duties :
In concert with Fraud Bureau investigators, conducts in-depth examinations of financial records and activities to uncover potential fraud, misconduct, or irregularities.
Gathers information in part by interviewing witnesses and other relevant parties to gain insights into potential fraudulent schemes.
Use advanced data analysis tools and forensic accounting methods to trace funds and identify hidden transactions.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports documenting findings, evidence, and conclusions.
If necessary, testify at hearings and other proceedings related to fraud investigations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions.
Effective written and verbal communication to clearly present findings and recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of R, Python, or Tableau helpful).
