Job Description

Required Certifications:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, PSM)
Scrum Master/Java Developer Required Skills:
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach in software development teams
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
• Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Hands-on experience with testing tools like JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG
Our Client is seeking a dynamic Scrum Master/Senior Java Developer to join our team. This hybrid role combines the leadership and facilitation responsibilities of a Scrum Master with hands-on software development expertise. The ideal candidate will guide Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions while also contributing directly to the technical development process.
Scrum Master/Java Developer Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and UI/UX, to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Perform code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining high code quality
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategies
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Serve as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, fostering continuous improvement and team empowerment
• Facilitate the removal of impediments and ensure smooth workflow for the development team
• Track and manage project progress using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog
• Promote Agile best practices and principles across the organization. Ensure cross-team coordination and communication in multi-team projects
• Act as a mentor to team members, supporting their professional development
