The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of Company physical security, the physical security contractor, and all other stake holders under the direction of the LH Battery. This position involves 70% physical security tasks and 30% IT security responsibilities, ensuring a comprehensive approach to safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain security systems, ensuring the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
• Conduct thorough security assessments of facilities, systems, and processes, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and investigate security breaches, determining their causes and creating action plans to mitigate risks.
• Oversee security operations for special events, developing security protocols, coordinating with law enforcement, and managing security personnel.
• Train employees on security practices, including proper badge use, and handling sensitive materials.
• Respond to incidents, including acts of violence, conduct investigations, and prepare reports for legal and insurance purposes.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and on-site security personnel to resolve security issues.
• Stay informed about new security technologies, industry trends, and evolving regulations.
• Attend meetings and work with team members to ensure a safe a secure working environment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date security reports and documentation.
• Helps in identifying areas of vulnerability relative to security and aids in the creation of proactive and sustainable operational programs to address the identified concerns.
• Ensures the organization’s work processes are legally compliant.
• Participates in organizational operational benchmarks and goals.
• Collaborates with management, internal divisional members and other organizational departments to create a workplace culture of security and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to facilitate audits and examination of the company’s security practices.
• Conduct security reviews when introducing or changing an enterprise information system, ensuring the system''s security aligns with organizational policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Information Security or Computer Science.
• Certificated in the area of Information Security (e.g. CISA, CISSP, etc.) preferred.
Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
• Experience and knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV preferred.
Skills:
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of security principles, including risk assessment and mitigation.
• MS Office tool-based report writing and effective communication and presentation skills.
• Project management skills.
• Korean language preferred but not required
