Vasopressor IV drip titration
Ventilator management
Care of sepsis, arrhythmias, and med / surg critical care patients

Job Description :

Work in a critical care unit with 21 beds, supported by a team-oriented staff.

Night shift includes 1 charge nurse with no patient assignment and 6-8 nurses, maintaining a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 2 : 1, adjusted to 3 : 1 for step-down status or 1 : 1 for very high acuity cases.

Utilize Hospira IV pumps and Meditech EMR for patient care management.

Handle procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, bronchoscopy, and endoscopy.

Engage in a small community hospital environment with mostly elective patient admissions.

Ensure compliance with unit guidelines and policies, including rotating weekend shifts and holiday working requirements.

Opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated facility, with an intensivist present in the ICU 24 / 7.

Flexibility to float to Telemetry and other hospitals in the network as needed.
