Rose Senior Living Avon is recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner on a daily basis. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community!
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:
- Provide ongoing telephone coverage and directing calls.
- Help resolve issues presented by residents and guests in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating and maintain your professionalism.
- Accept delivery packages, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
- Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff in our online system.
- Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
- Creating Fobs for staff, residents and families via our online program.
- Maintain order and cleanliness at the front desk to ensure first impressions are wonderful.
- Must be computer literate.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
- Patience is needed in this position
- Prioritizing tasks
This is a great role for someone who is retired and enjoys interacting with seniors. This is a PT role with a set schedule that is subject to change. Working Wednesday 8-4:15 and Sundays either 8-4:15 or 4-8pm. availability to help cover during illness and when others are off.
All concierges share holidays equally and help cover one another when needing time off. The concierge desk is staffed from 8am to 8pm 7 days a week.
