THE STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES A PART-TIME OPENING IN ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT
POSITION : Academic Advisor (Part-Time)
Description of Duties :
Advise and enroll first-time college students. Assist with the advisement and enrollment of students with undecided majors. Perform other duties as assigned. This is a part-time hourly position up to 20 hours per week. The hours are either 8 : 00 a.m. to 1 : 00 p.m. -or- 1 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; and 12 : 00 p.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., Friday. Days and hours may vary during extended enrollment.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree. Experience in academic advising, higher education, customer service or related field. Detail oriented, good technical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

An unofficial degree conferring transcripts must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.
