POSITION: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK
CLASSIFICATION: OFFICE CLERK III
LOCATION: EDUCATION CENTER
COMPENSATION: PER ESPA CONTRACT
JOB SUMMARY: The accounts receivable clerk’s principal duties involve processing the receipt of local, state, and federal funds. This individual is also responsible for all aspects of the bookkeeping functions for the Student Activity of all schools within the district. Responsible for keeping track of all capital assets in the district. Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to information concerning students, personnel, and other administrative matters affecting the district.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED with an associate degree preferred; three to five years’ experience in school business or related field; knowledge of accounting procedures including state bidding requirements and GASB regulations; Outstanding Microsoft Office, communication, organization, and customer relations skills.
