Purpose
Duties include leading the team responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting Devops Automation and OT Infrastructure systems for Roseburg Forest Products. The Devops Engineering Manager will lead a cross functional team to facilitate automation and process improvement efforts within IT / OT. In addition, the Devops Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing capital projects and ensure that managed projects deliver successful outcomes for Roseburg while adhering to scope, budget, and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of all team members by adhering to company safety, environmental, and core values
- Coach and mentor team members to facilitate staff development
- Manage and support capital project efforts
- Lead the team that delivers devops automation and infrastructure services for Roseburg.
- Manage the design, installation, support, and administration of devops automation systems infrastructure, including the underlying container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) as well as network and server infrastructure
- Lead the team in delivering effective support for automated business functions and provide the most reliable possible service and infrastructure delivery for Roseburg.
- Document and maintain design standards for Roseburg’s automation workflows and manufacturing network and server infrastructure systems
- Initiate & lead process improvement / automation efforts to facilitate cost reduction and increased efficiency in IT and general Roseburg business processes.
- Manage OT infrastructure projects and OT staff resources and other field work to ensure quality and improve future outcomes
- Other duties as assigned
