Description
Key Responsibilities :
Assemble / Disassemble Ripsaw arbor setups.
Monitor plant run schedule and prioritize arbors to be built.
Communicate with area coordinator and Shipping Coordinator daily to anticipate any same day schedule changes.
Repair tooling as needed.
Work with vendors to maintain tooling inventory.
Operate overhead crane to move arbor setups.
Monitor and record billet counts on individual saw blades to track lifespan.
Assist with Ripsaw Changeovers when available.
Preferred Qualifications :
Past employment experience in manufacturing environment
Experience with CMMS
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments
Willing and able to learn new jobs and skills
Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation
Requirements
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call and rotating shifts, and holidays
Able to work in extreme heat / cold, navigate catwalks and ladders - physical ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, which includes climbing stair, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending
Ability to communicate effectively and constructively
Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation
Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an industrial environment
A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations
