Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field. Master Degree in licensable degree program strongly preferred.
- Previous working experience in behavioral health program required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC), or licensed in Illinois as a LSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.
- Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
- Supervise the Addiction Counselors, Unit Staff, and other assigned team members including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
- Prepare staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage of unit at all times.
- Assume responsibility for the physical maintenance of the unit and request necessary repairs or services from the Administrator or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Participate in the Performance Improvement and Utilization Review process and serve on committees as directed.
- Monitor and ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
- Consult with leadership to develop policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the Inpatient Unit.
- Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
- Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
- Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
- Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
