Job Summary
To provide exceptional support to an existing team of Project Personnel.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and ensure timely delivery of project proposals to requesting Clients and Customers.
- Maintain data in Construction Management Software Heavy Jobs; time and material, equipment and labor hours on a per project basis.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to review project details with Owners and Contractors for potential projects.
- Produce and complete bid documents by performing field measurements, build take-offs and create estimates for potential jobs.
- Ensures simultaneous project quotes; including job costs, material costs, equipment and labor hours are correctly allocated.
- Maintain project documentation in shared job folders; including contracts, project specifications, exhibits, locations, client data, etc.
- Complete contract and subcontract agreements and obtain notarized signatures, as needed.
- Oversee the scope of work reference sheet (internal/field use) for newly awarded projects; depicting location and material quantities.
- Coordinate with Rosemar Owners, Superintendents and Dispatching to schedule job timelines.
- Manage company compliance data across Reporting & Management Systems (i.e. EBO, Elations, SAM.gov and com)
- Confirm and maintain labor hours and material quantities with project personnel (i.e. Inspectors, Project Foremen, Superintendents and Subcontractors).
- Periodically visit jobsites to address project deliverables with project personnel.
- Create and supply Procurement Personnel with project Purchase Orders.
- Prepare job specific paperwork for submission to Accounts Receivable for progressive and/or final billing.
- Coordinate with Primary/General Contractors, Subcontractors and local Inspectors regarding project timelines, quantities, closeouts and final billing.
- Maintain accurate data, while upholding the company confidentiality practices.
- Additional tasks as assigned, act as a point of contact as applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Estimating or Project Management, required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
- Applicable experience in Construction Management, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft office suite (word, excel, outlook) and job-related software (Heavy Bid/Insight Elevations).
- Ability to learn new software, integrate and tactfully assimilate processes.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to traverse worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Some travel may be required.
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $150,000 (commensurate on experience)
