Responsibilities
- Evaluate construction plans, design calculations and cost estimations to ensure completeness, accuracy, or conformity to engineering/construction standards or practices.
- Attend and participate in project meetings with field personnel and clients; present data, maps, or other relevant information.
- Evaluate specific construction project materials to determine compliance to specifications or standards.
- Meet with clients to review potential projects and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Estimate project costs, prepare project budgets, schedules, or specifications for labor or materials.
- Participate in contract bidding, negotiation and administration.
- Negotiate and prepare Subcontract Agreements.
- Negotiate and prepare purchase orders for project materials.
- Review various outlets for potential projects to bid and recommend them to the estimating personnel.
- Confer with contractors, utility companies, material suppliers and/or government agencies to discuss plans, specifications or work schedules.
- Direct the surveying, staking, or laying-out of construction projects.
- Inspect completed construction projects to ensure safety or compliance with applicable standards or regulations.
- Review monthly quantities and requisitions from clients on completed work performed.
- Review monthly invoices from subcontractors for work performed.
- Maintain accurate data, while upholding the company confidentiality practices.
- Additional tasks as assigned, act as a point of contact as applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
