Job Overview:
As a Culinary Closer at Rosemary & Rye, you will play a key role in managing the logistics of food and equipment for our events. We are looking for a reliable and organized individual who can efficiently handle the transportation, setup, and teardown of our catering services.
Responsibilities:
Include, but not limited to...
- Load and transport food and equipment to events according to schedule.
- Unload and organize food in the kitchen and front-of-house (FOH) equipment in designated areas upon arrival at events.
- Provide support and assistance throughout the event as needed.
- Reload and transport all food and equipment back to the warehouse after the event.
- Properly store leftover food and clean equipment after events.
- Handle food deliveries and pickups as assigned throughout the week.
- Report any maintenance issues with equipment or company vehicles to the Chef de Cuisine.
- Assist with regular vehicle maintenance and repair schedules.
- Maintain proper fuel levels in company vehicles.
- Support the pickup and return of rental vehicles or equipment.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Chef de Cuisine.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Availability for weekends and evenings.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or warehouse setting is preferred.
