JOB TITLE: Dietary Manager
REPORTS TO: Administrator & Dietitian
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW: Employees in this role will be responsible for identifying patients’ unique dietary needs and planning meals that meet them. They will also need to maintain the kitchen’s inventory, manage their staff’s schedules, and work within the confines of a budget.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manage daily food service operations in our hospital.
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members
- Instruct staff on how to create the meals that you design.
- Maintain the inventory of our kitchens.
- Establish a budget and work within its confines
