What are the responsibilities and job description for the Convention Services Setup position at Rosen Hotels & Resorts?
Summary:
The Conventions Services Set-Up Attendant is responsible for the setup and tear down of all materials and equipment for conventions and events in meeting spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the supervisor throughout the shift to be aware of the work.
- Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest in accordance to BEO.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glass and fresh water.
- Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to the storage closet.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Maintain an established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms always stay presentable.- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Ability to lift- up to 50 lbs. consistently and 100 lbs. infrequently.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
