Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Management Specialist located in Eugene, OR. The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for program and project management, project planning, and utilizing analytical skills to achieve project goals.

Sample Work Tasks and responsibilities Include:
- Lead Proactive, Cross-Functional Communication on Projects
•Ensure clear, consistent, and proactive communication of project goals, timelines, challenges, and updates to all internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Quality teams.
•Keep all relevant departments informed of project status, upcoming milestones, and design or scope changes. Proactively solicit feedback to enhance collaboration and project outcomes.
- Customer-Facing Communication and Engagement on Project Status
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project status. Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and maintain strong engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Dashboard Development and Oversight
•Develop and maintain a comprehensive, company-wide project dashboard that provides visibility into project priorities, timelines, task completion, and current assignments.
•Collaborate with the Engineering and Sales Managers to assign tasks and enforce deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
- Project Kickoff Preparation and Facilitation
•Prepare all necessary documentation and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a well-organized project kickoff. Lead or support kickoff meetings as appropriate.
•For product development efforts, work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to coordinate prototyping, testing, and transition to production.
- Weekly Progress Presentation
•Prepare and deliver concise weekly project status updates, including milestone tracking and progress check-ins, to the Engineering and Sales teams.
- Cost and Time Tracking
•Monitor project-related labor and material costs, and ensure timely entry of this data into the Sage MRP system. Work with finance and production planning to ensure accurate cost accounting.
- Project Closeout Activities
•Oversee all end-of-project responsibilities, including the compilation and/or coordination of final release documentation, closure of project records in Sage, and coordination with Finance to finalize cost allocations.
•Facilitate post-project debriefs to identify lessons learned and process improvements for future projects.
- Support Quality-Related Initiatives
•Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a risk log and ensure contingencies are in place for critical issues.
•Partner with the Quality team to organize and facilitate cross-functional meetings addressing major quality concerns. Develop and manage corrective action plans in response to specific product quality issues.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
