POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) sales for the assigned trade area. This position is accountable for goal setting and achieving performance targets and manages the overall channel relationship and development for all products including trucks, loose equipment, and technology products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All employees are required to support Rosenbauers Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
- Develops and maintains annual sales business plans which includes monthly and annual forecasts, targeted customer prospect lists, annual demonstration and regional show plans.
- Call on ARFF customers, giving presentations/demonstrations and selling directly to this market segment.
- Attends national trade shows/conferences, and regional shows where needed.
- Develop customer specifications and bids.
- Communicate and assists Post-Sales Department with truck delivery information, product specifications, service/warranty, and other ways to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assists with strategic projects including fleet accounts, new product development, etc.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet company objectives.

Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing, or a similarly related field of study preferred.
- 2 years of experience in fire equipment, emergency vehicle, or heavy equipment sales required.
- 5 years of experience in fire equipment, emergency vehicle, or heavy equipment sales preferred.
- General knowledge of firefighting vehicles or ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting) preferred.
