What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Machine Operator position at Rosenboom Machine & Tool Inc?
Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Training will take place on 1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday
$2,600 Sign on bonus
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Read Blueprints and Specifications: Interpret blueprints and job travelers for part specifications including dimensions, tooling instructions, and operation sequences.
- Tool Regulation: Monitor operations and adjust tool positions and actions as necessary.
- Inspection: Conduct inspections as required by job sheets, supervisors, and the QC department.
- Nonconforming Parts: Identify and segregate nonconforming parts.
- Secondary Operations: Perform deburring, cleaning, and other secondary operations on produced parts.
- Maintenance: Keep machines and tools clean and lubricated.

- Troubleshooting: Handle minor troubleshooting and interpret various instructions.
- Math Skills: Understand basic math principles.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Measurement: Take measurements to verify part conformance.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic mechanical skills with tools used in machining.
- Training: Receive specific training for job responsibilities.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
