The position of an Optometric Technician is a key part to our Optical Team. You will primarily assist Doctor in patient care and servicing needs. You will work with the optical team and the Doctor to ensure our patients receive the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities/Duties will include but not limited to:
- Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care.
- Performing technical workups, patient histories and special testing.
- Responsible for maintaining medical supply and equipment inventory.
- Maintain and clean all equipment being used. Report to Equipment
- Coordinator if not in working condition.
- Returning phone calls to patients and pharmacies in a timely manner.
- Efficiently and accurately interview patients and documents histories.
- Assists the doctor with contact lens evaluations.
- Safely and effectively complete contact lens insertion and removal training with patients.
- Accurately performs:
- Lensometry
- Tonometry
- Humphrey Visual Fields
- Muscle Testing
- Pupil Exams
- Topography
- OCT
- Fundus Photos
Experience:
At least 2 years of Optical experience is highly preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
