As a as Receptionist/Optometric Technician you play an integral part of the optical team.
· Provide exceptional customer service by phone to both current and perspective patients.
· Must efficiently multi-task and control the patient's flow at the office while performing all necessary pre-test exams, patient history and capture chief complaint before the patients get seen by the doctor.
· Required to spend majority of the day at a workstation, engaged in work-related activities, including answering incoming calls, customer call backs, patient insurnace verification, patient check in, collection of proper patient responsibility and follow up.
· Remaining time to be spent with other assigned duties such as sales floor assistance, meetings, coaching sessions and on authorized break time, including restroom and water breaks.
· Performs general research and problem resolution. Escalates patient issues and concerns to management, as necessary.
· Must be open to work a flexible schedule which include days, early evenings and some weekends.
