What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic position at Rosina Food Products?
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on production equipment as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and inspections, documenting findings and addressing deficiencies.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Operate tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and welding equipment to repair or fabricate parts.
- Maintain compliance with USDA, OSHA, GMP, and HACCP regulations while ensuring safety and food quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet departmental and company goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of experience in maintenance, with a background in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment:
This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and loud noise levels. Flexibility is required to work any five of seven days, including weekends and holidays.
