What’s the Role?

Taking on the position of a Refrigerated Inventory Handler will involve managing our frozen product storage and shipping operations with precision. Dive into a dynamic, bustling environment and leverage your skillset to ensure our standards are always met and surpassed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate forklift machinery, emphasizing safety and attentiveness.
• Attain the company's expected pace for moving pallets.
• Carry out pre-use inspections on all equipment.
• Strategically relocate products to and from storage zones.
• Validate accuracy when preparing outbound shipments.
• Pre-inspection and qualification of trailers prior to loading.
• Maintain security on loaded trailers pending dispatch.
• Utilize systems for real-time tracking and movement of inventory.
• Partake in cleaning tasks such as dusting and sweeping the warehouse.
• Change or charge forklift batteries and assist in stocktaking as needed.

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in forklift operations or within a warehouse setting.
• Adaptable to working in -10F temperature ranges.
• Willingness to stand throughout shifts.
• Available for required overtime or weekend shifts.
• Familiarity with Hilo operations in cold storage is favorable.
