The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the opportunity to enhance, improve, and add value to our food manufacturing organizations. In this role you will provide recruitment support to the operations leadership teams while utilizing your knowledge to sell opportunity and grow a pipeline of candidates.

Essential Functions
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for non-exempt, hourly production roles including job posting, screening and interviewing.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and programs to attract top candidates and fill positions in a timely manner.
- Build strong relationships and partner with managers and people operations to understand role responsibilities and business needs.
- Participate in community and networking events, job fairs, and industry events to build candidate pipeline
- Develop engagement calendar and plan to attract and hire external candidates as well as engagement with community partners.
- Ensure OFCCP and FLSA compliance by following recruitment processes, rules, and regulations to include proper documentation and dispositioning of candidates; maintain accurate and well- organized documentation on all candidates, searches, and hiring manager interactions to ensure audit readiness.
- Plan, evaluate, research, recommend, and implement systemic process improvements for the Talent Acquisition Team.
- Assist in the new hire orientation and onboarding of new team members.
- Partner with the People and Talent team on functional projects and site-specific initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent related work experience).
- 2 years of recruiting experience preferably in manufacturing, light industrial or high-volume staffing.
- General knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proactive and responsive with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable working with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to collaborate and interact with all levels and functional areas.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Workday a plus.
