Essential Functions
- Maximize portfolio revenue through implementation of efficient and effective marketing strategies.
- Assist with needs assessments, develop and implement strategies to address marketing issues for communities.
- Update, place, and manage all print, ILS, website and social media content to maximize performance. Ensure all tracking information/feeds are working properly. Conduct quarterly web audits of content and make changes as needed.
- Implement interactive marketing, including e-mail communications, social media, reputation management, SEO/SEM, mobile and video for communities and corporate.
- Work with designers and/or ad agency on development of marketing materials such as brochures, referral materials, videos, etc.
- Facilitate the creation and installation of all signage including banners, main ID, a- frames, leasing office displays, etc.
- Assist with implementation of new marketing initiative and efforts including flyers, e-blasts, advertising, etc.
- Serve as reputation management ambassador. Ensure communities are responding to reviews in a timely manner and address any issues with supervisors.
- Manage marketing log-ins and update personnel changes in marketing platforms such as Soci.
- Manage promotional items inventory and fulfill marketing supplies orders from community requests.
- Compile, review and save monthly market surveys from properties.
- Facilitate marketing training classes, i.e. Market Survey, Internet Marketing, and Reputation Management.
- Process, track and troubleshoot marketing invoices. Maintain invoice tracking spreadsheet.
- Maintain Weekly Ad Plan of all specials, incentives, outreach and advertising schedules.
- Support onsite staff with creative ideas for open houses and other marketing requests.
- Event management; participate in planning company event, i.e. team meetings, holiday parties, recognition events, property grand openings, etc.
- Actively participate with PMA, AOBA and other industry related associations.
- Other duties as assigned
- Marketing or Communication Degree, preferred.
- 5 years of previous property management marketing experience, preferably in the D.C. Metro area.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and decision making skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced environment.
- Self-starter, detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize work independently.
- Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Publisher, and Internet research skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and creative ability.
- Ad design experience, preferred
- Social Media marketing and Search Engine marketing experience a plus
