Rossman School is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Business Office Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing accounts receivable and accounts payable, processing payroll and assisting with Human Resources functions, and assisting the Director of Business and Finance with projects and administrative needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support accounting functions of the School with special emphasis on:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Complete accurate data entry and analysis of information from invoices, timesheets, and other financial data for accuracy, validity, and approval status.
- Provide Human Resources assistance, especially data entry, as requested.
- Assist the Director of Business and Finance with projects and administrative needs.

- Demonstrate good organization, prioritization skills, and an attunement to detail.
- Possess strong financial and business acumen.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Have strong interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting required
- Two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience required
- Proficient with accounting systems, Google Drive, and Microsoft Suite (including Excel and Word)
- Non-for-profit experience preferred
- Must have a car, valid driver’s license, and insurance
