What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Warehouse Clerk position at Roswell Marine?
This role supports warehouse operations by assisting with inventory management, order processing, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable of handling warehouse tasks, and eager to learn and grow within the company.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments according to company procedures.

Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Maintain inventory records and update warehouse management systems as needed.

Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following company policies and safety regulations.

Assist in cycle counting and stock audits to ensure accurate inventory levels.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).

Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Support other warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.

Ability to lift and move packages up to 30 lbs.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule / Travel

7AM – 3:30PM Monday – Friday

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is:

Must be able to grip and operate hand tools with a minimum of 50 in/lbs. of force

Must be able to grip fine contacts and wires with one hand and operate crimping tool with the other hand

Must be able to see fine components and have manual dexterity to properly place and solder these components.

Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. for at least 15 feet.

Safety Glasses must be worn at all times when in certain production areas.

Enclosed non-skid shoes must be worn at all times when in the production areas.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses may be required and worn.
