Job Description: We are looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to oversee the general upkeep and repair needs of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in plumbing or HVAC systems and a commitment to ensuring a safe and functional environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems.
- Address plumbing issues, HVAC system maintenance, electrical repairs, and other facility-related concerns.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and resolve maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workshop and inventory of supplies and tools.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
- Strong background in plumbing or HVAC systems is encouraged.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
