Overview and Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Care Coordinator to join our team. This position receives inbound calls in call center and enters information into computer for customer service.

- Answers telephone inquiries promptly and is responsible for intake of orders
- Collects co-pays and coinsurances for services rendered
- Determine the best method for providing service while evaluating reimbursement and cost impact to the company
- Educates customers on product availability
- Ensure compassionate and positive interactions with customers, caregivers, referral sources and payers
- Make decisions based on customer need, vendor pricing and third party reimbursement possibilities
- Open new customer computer accounts, enter and confirm work orders and monitor accounts for accuracy and completion
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action to ensure best service is provided
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries (patients and referral sources), both in the store and on the phone, with regard to appropriateness, availability, and coverage guidelines of equipment / supplies
- Suggests new or additional products or services relative to the customers diagnosis
- Performs other duties as assigned
