SUMMARY: Provide effective checkout service by totaling merchandise, bagging merchandise and providing friendly service.
WORK HOURS: Schedules and hours vary. Positions are likely to include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Although we are interested in providing our employees with a stable work schedule, our ability to do so depends on our assessment of work needs and business conditions.
Pay: $15.20 to $20.50 depending upon experience and education.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but other duties may be assigned:
Roth’s Fresh Market employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and prompt friendly service.
- Welcome customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations
- Process customer orders at the checkout area in an accurate, efficient and friendly manner
- Bagging merchandise for customers
- Restock display racks surrounding the checkstand as time permits.
- Stock and face display racks, coolers, etc., as time permits and as instructed
- Clean checkout counter and surrounding area daily
- Assist in Floral and Produce Departments
- Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will have experience working in a Checker/Cashiering position, the grocery industry, or performing similar work. Must be 18 years or older.
