Rothe is seeking Product Management Support for the NASA Applications and Platform Services (APS) Service Line in support of the Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is an enterprise-level contract providing IT management, multimedia, and communication services for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. Job Description
Support the Product Manager with product management functions within the Shared Services, Agile Release Train (ART) throughout all stages of the product life cycle; Introduction, Growth, Maturity, and Decline. Working closely with Product Management, collaborate with business owners, customers, product owners, and others steering the ART, ensuring business value, and aligning outcomes. Translate customer requirements into solutions measured as business outcomes. Provide continuous refinement of the product vision and communicate to the ART. Revise roadmaps as needed based on product strategy. Prioritize ART backlog, feature acceptance, participate in ART events such as PI planning, Inspect and Adapt activities, and demonstrations.
Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.
Education
BA/BS degree and 10 years relevant experience in Product Management. Previous experience performing product management across multiple teams within the Agile Release Train (ART). Minimum 5 years’ experience utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Experience
- Provide outstanding communication to Product Management, customers, stakeholders, and all other members of the ART.
- Extremely organized with excellent time-management skills.
- Highly motivated and able to shift gears rapidly and frequently as needed or as dictated by the customer.
- Must be process oriented and able to adhere to defined procedural guidance.
- Must have initiative and ability to drive projects to success and prioritize multiple high-visibility tasks.
- Able to tailor technical communications, both verbally and written to audiences possessing a varying degree of IT experience and knowledge.
- Must work well both independently and with various stakeholders from other NASA Programs/Organizations including contractors from eMITS and other contracts.
- Certified SAFe Practitioner.
- Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Familiarity with System Applications and Products (SAP). 3-5 years of experience serving in the Product Manager or a Product Manager support role.
- Familiarity with Power Automate tools, Jira, PI Planning.io, Mural, and Jira Align.
- Very experienced with advanced utilization of various Microsoft applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365.
- Previous experience with NASA.
