Rothman Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital is a single-specialty surgical hospital in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Our hospital was developed by Rothman physicians to provide their patients high quality and patient-focused care. Our facility features 6 fully-equipped operating rooms and 24 in-patient rooms. We are equipped for joint replacements, orthopedic surgery, pain management and spine surgery, as well as sports medicine, foot and ankle, shoulder and elbow, and hand and wrist procedures.
SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY= 9:30AM-6:00PM
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting and performing specified Supply Chain duties in the absence/presence of the facility Materials Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience in healthcare required.
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Requisition/place routine and non-routine orders through the EMR, as required.
2. Receive routine and non-routine purchase orders through the EMR, as required.
3. Assist and perform quarterly physical counts.
4. Deliver/distribute/replenish supplies/equipment throughout the entire building.
5. Check-In with vendors and deliveries
6. Assist Materials Manager in maintaining inventory levels, expiration dates on products and rotation of supplies.
7. Coordinate return shipments and maintain return log.
8. Keep shelves and storage bins clean and organized.
9. Receive and inspect every box that comes into the building and make sure all orders are correct and proper paperwork is intact.
10. Monitor back-orders.
