Rothman Orthopaedics is looking for a Worker's Compensation Coordinator to join our team! The Workers' Compensation Coordinator is a call center position that fields a high volume of calls related to Worker's Compensation. This individual will be responding to requests from patients, insurance companies, nurse case managers, adjusters, and other referral sources. The Worker's Compensation Coordinator is also responsible for scheduling appointments and sending reports. If you are qualified for and interested in this position, please apply.
Job Title: Worker's Compensation Coordinator
Hours: Mon - Fri: 8am - 5pm
Location: fully remote
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED minimum education requirement
- Two (2) years experience in the worker's compensation field
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office
Job Duties:
- In a high call volume position, responds to all requests from nurse case managers, adjusters and attorneys and all relevant referral sources with regard to workers' compensation issues.
- Schedules appointments in a timely fashion.
- Verifies patients' workers' compensation insurance.
- Works with allied health staff to obtain completed forms and expedites care.
- Assists with pre-certification and approval as necessary.
- Updates patients' accounts.
- Assists the call center with scheduling.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
