What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Foreman position at Rothwell Landscape, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead a team of landscapers in various tasks related to landscape construction, maintenance, and tree care.
- Plan and execute landscape projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations.
- Plant flowers, trees, and shrubs according to landscape plans.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
Experience:
- Proven experience in landscape construction.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of different plant species, their care requirements, and proper planting techniques.
-Some design and sales experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation/maintenance.
- Understanding of groundskeeping practices including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
