Job Title: Production Foreman
Location: Groveton, NH
Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Reports to: Production Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Weekend Production Foreman to oversee our weekend manufacturing operations in Groveton, NH. This role is responsible for leading production employees, managing schedules, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and achieving production targets while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, leadership experience, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead weekend production employees.
- Complete daily shift walkarounds to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure daily goals are met for each employee and department.
- Report performance, schedules, and operational issues to the Production Manager.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational challenges and improve efficiency.
- Perform administrative duties such as confirming parts availability and ensuring equipment and supplies are on hand for each task.
- Generate and maintain electronic production reports to track key metrics.
- Ensure all safety protocols, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Maintain high-quality control standards throughout the production process.
- Assist in the training and development of employees.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the production manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow efficiency.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
- Professional demeanor and positive leadership approach.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles & Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, welding/fabrication, machining, painting, and assembly.
- Able to travel to Canada for training purposes.
