What are the responsibilities and job description for the D365 Commercial SME position at Rotork?
As the D365 Commercial SME, you'll support the deployment of D365 CE and FinOps to our US Selling Entity.
You will collaborate closely with superusers, local site leadership and the CE Product owner to complete the gap / fit assessment against our global blueprint, identify process and system requirements and support the solution deployment with testing, training and go live support. This role is pivotal to the success of our Americas deployment.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Engage closely with superusers, local and global teams to ensure the D365 Selling Entity solution meets priority business needs.
- Collaborate with global process owners & CE product owner to prioritize requirements, resolve conflicts, and evaluate change impacts for the Americas deployment
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications to support development teams.
- Support superusers and leadership teams in learning the CE & FinOps D365 solution for Selling Entities
- Support the programme manager in maintaining project progress to meet deployment timescales
- Possess understanding of configuration-based and customisation-based solutions to gaps.
- Work closely with the training teams to update training materials and facilitate changes.
- Provide guidance and support to technical teams during deployment
- Support all elements of business readiness and system deployment, including making process and organisation changes alongside deploying the system solution.
Required skills and experience:
- D365 expert in CE
- Experience working within or leading a D365 deployment of both CE and FinOps
- Good understanding of Commercial and Service best practice processes
- Experience of working within complex projects with tight deadlines.
- Experience in developing requirements, conducting system analysis, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication of business requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within agile teams and knowledge of Kanban, Lean, and Scrum methodologies.
