As a Dock and Lift Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and functionality of docks and lifts, collaborating with a team to complete projects efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities
· Install, remove, and repair docks and boat lifts according to technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
· Level and adjust docks and lifts to ensure proper positioning and stability.
· Use hand and power tools, including wrenches, drills, saws, and hammers, to complete installation, repair, and adjustment tasks.
· Assess and troubleshoot issues with existing docks and lifts and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of dock and lift projects.
· Conduct thorough inspections to identify structural weaknesses, damaged components, or other issues that may impact functionality or safety.
· Calculate measurements and figure out precise leveling and adjustment requirements for docks and lifts.
· Assist with the loading and unloading of dock and lift materials, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment as required.
· Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress, challenges, and any additional material needs.
· Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
· General labor on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
· Previous experience in dock and lift installation, repair, or a related field.
· Familiarity with hand and power tools.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
· Ability to lift heavy objects (75 pounds or more).
· Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
· Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and at varying heights.
· Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in challenging situations.
· Boater license certification.
Physical Demands
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (75 pounds or more) regularly.
· Capacity to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small components and operate tools effectively.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
